Money is a
mysterious little thing. It works like the golden snitch; getting in and out of
your sight in no time. The more you try to contain it, the farther it runs away
from you.
So what's the ultimate secret to saving enough
of this funny little thing while still being able to purchase most of the
things you want? Well, here it is; the perfect method to never being broke!
First things
first, count your money right after you receive it and, in addition to that,
know exactly how much of it you have left in store whenever you buy something
new. Now of course, by counting it, I don’t mean that you should turn into a
greedy little person like Silas Marner or something. Just keep an eye over your
how much you spend daily.
So once you're
done with this, here's what you do next. Divide your money into groups as soon
as it's given to you. Know precisely, how much you have to spend and where. For
example, if you're given 200 bucks and you have to buy multiple items like a
few chocolates, a hand bag and flowers; allocate the money to each item
beforehand. Oh and remember one thing, do NOT mix up the money from one group
to another, because if you do that then you might end up spending more cash
than you had to on one specific thing, and thus be left with nothing but an
empty wallet at the end of the day.
Prioritize! Pay
for all the important stuff first. This way, you would save up a lot of money;
since you wouldn't be spending extra cash to obtain small unnecessary things
that usually disturb your budget!
Save a little of
whatever money you have left every day.
Once you are done with all of your trades and transactions for the day;
save a small share of your leftover money. Do this repeatedly for a few weeks
and may be you’ll be rich enough to buy something really expensive that you
wanted to have all along, like an IPhone or a laptop.
In short, be wise
whenever dealing with your wealth. Try not to be extravagant. However, don’t go
on becoming miserly either. Spend of your substance, but in moderation.
