Boredom: The biggest problem faced by all teenagers
Among the many problems faced by us teens,
the biggest one is boredom. It wrings out all the life and excitement
out of us and leaves us with nothing but a feeling of utter dullness. However,
with just a few changes in your daily routine, you can make your life as cool as
you wanted it to be all along by using these suggestions:
STOP PROCRASTINATING
Although, laziness and
procrastination may seem extremely relaxing at first, but if prolonged, they
drain all of your creativity out of you and force you to become a couch potato.
Oh and don’t forget all the extra weight that you’ll be gaining without even
having to move a muscle.
So here’s the deal, if you
quit this habit now, may be you will finally have a chance at living that adventurous
life, which almost every teenager dreams of!
ALLOW
THE INSPIRATION TO TAKE PLACE
If possible, take
some time out every day and allow yourself to be inspired from your
surroundings. Listen to light music and take meaning out of it. Or take a
stroll along the roadside and watch the people around you. Observe and
understand what it means to be alive.
Even if you’re not a good at none of the following things, do at least one of
them nonetheless; simply to be inspired from your own self.
a) Paint freestyle
b) Write about
things that interest you
c) Sing songs or
hum
Yearn for new experiences
Be creative. Try to do
things you've never done before or always wanted to do.
For example, learning some
instrument or starting up your own band! Or if you are more of a literary
person, then learning a new language or writing your own book! Don’t worry,
even if these things seem boring to you, there are still some life hacking
things a sporty person like you would like. May be you could give a shot at
trying out a new sport like horse riding or soccer. Still not interested? How
about going on tours around the city with your friends or travelling with your
family to new places?
May be, if you have enough
money, you could throw parties for your friends sometimes. Or if you want to go
through with all this fun while on a shoe string, why not simply hangout with
your friends or for that matter, make new friends by going to places you've
never been to before?
If you are more of a
spiritual person, try praying in your free time. Trust me, not only does this
make excellent use of your time but also makes you far more satisfied with life.
HAVE FUN
No matter which of these
things you may choose to do, just remember one simple thing: whatever you do,
do it for fun.
Try finding the beauty
inside every little thing you do or see. Be grateful and be happy. But most
important of all, have an exciting, thrilling and fun-filled life!
